What we Believe

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe that:

Jesus Christ, God in the flesh on earth (Son of God, in other words), died for our sins (wrong doings) and came back from the dead. (1 Corintians 15.1-8.

The Bible is given us by God who had it written by men who listened to Him. It holds His intruction, information and His desired for us. (2 Timothy 3.16)

Every person has worth as a creation of God but all have sinned and so fall short of God's standards. (Romans 3.23)

Forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to those who accept and trust Christ as Saviour and Lord. (John 3.16)

Those accepting Christ should own up that they've done wrong, declare their faith and be baptised into Christ. (Romans 10.9, Acts 2.38)

Each Christian has the Holy Spirit living within them - a free gift from God. (Romans 5.5, Galations 4.6)

The Church is the Body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit. She is here to bring people to Jesus and to nurture them. (Ephesians 4.1-6)

Jesus Christ will one day return to earth and reign forever as King over all other kings and Lord over all other lords. (1 Thessalonians 4. 13-18)
